Indian Terror Tactics delays Kashmir Resolution

ONE

As a weakened dialogue is still trying to make some progress, New Delhi finds it unacceptable and is trying to apply a big break. India's concern over the supply of this tranche of weapons stems from Indian setback in restraining USA from further military tie-ups with Islamabad. The sales of surveillance drones to Pakistan were actually promised by the US terror militlary secretary, Robert Gates in January, when India had ignored the issue. Even when the Wall Street Journal had done a story on fresh US arms sales to Pakistan and India on the day two foreign secretaries were to meet last week, there was not a murmur from India.

India’s key worry is about its fading image as a secular democracy and recognition of India by the international community as a state terrorist as part of IST (international state terrorism). Genocides of Muslims in Gujarat and Jammu Kashmir have eclipsed the Indian Amid a growing perception that the western powers are losing interest in JK after expressing outrage over the Mumbai carnage and India considers that as a shot its arms.

The reason the Indian stalwarts, after having enjoyed the genocides of Kashmiri Muslims, are so worried is the international community has rightly, though very late, equated Kashmir problem with Palestine issue. The “innocent” Indians don't want their activities in Kashmir to be equated with what Israel is doing in Palestine. India as well as Israel, both corrupt colonialist regimes, is keen to see the end of US–Islamic world relations so that they can be sure of non-interference in their so-called “internal affairs” of killing the neighboring Muslims as the destructive prerogative.

In Indo-Pak sessions the leaders do discuss quite a lot, but what? Do they talk about latest bollywood films? May be just cutting old jokes of US-UK relations? No idea! When in Russia, Zardari pointed to his Indian terror premier the way forward. The decision to depute the foreign secretaries to discuss terrorism was taken at the Yekaterinburg ice-breaker meeting. India put pre- conditions on restarting the composite dialogue. Pakistan needed help to evolve a security mechanism to meet the threats of terrorism, narcotics and organized crime, and a mechanism on energy that would help it utilize the energy surplus of other countries in the region. More significantly, Zardari offered a vision for the region that would include “economic cooperation that would help Pakistan build trade and communication corridors within the region”. This process produced out- of- thebox- thinking on Kashmir but political instability in Pakistan led to a freeze on it in 2007. Before the Zardari government could get going on the same track, Mumbai happened in 2008. The clock was therefore turned back owing to the re- emergence of the “terrorist factor”. But can such gestures move the petrified Indian mindset?

But a bold India offers free lectures to Pakistan on "sincerity and determination" in dealing with anti-India terror as Islamabad has shown in dealing with the Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Singh Wednesday put Pakistan to the 'terrorism test' and said he had agreed to give Islamabad "some time" to take action against anti-India terror outfits before the two leaders meet again in Egypt mid-July.

Manmohan and Zardari met again on the sidelines of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Egypt July 15-16. It started with Manmohan telling Zardari upfront that India expected Pakistan not to allow its territory to be used for terror attacks. Singh put Pakistan to the 'terrorism test' and said he had agreed to give Islamabad "some time" to take action against anti-India terror outfits before the two leaders meet again. Before the Zardari government could get going, Mumbai terror was invoked by India in 2008. The clock was therefore turned back owing to the re- emergence of the “terrorist factor”. Some how India did not decide to blame Pakistan for Pune bakery. It started with Manmohan Singh telling Zardari upfront that India expected Pakistan not to allow its territory to be used for terror attacks.

India has as usual blamed the terrorism on “elements operate” in Pakistan. India thought – perhaps still thinks- the USA is already in its back pocket and India could manipulate it any way safely. At times, Indian hawks want to blast semi explosives thinking that US-Pak relations have broken down, but quickly they realize that it is usual diplomatic stunt between them. Pakistan's fresh attempt at re-hyphenating itself with India by asking the US to maintain ''balance of power'' in South Asia, as articulated by its foreign secretary, Salman Bashir, in New Delhi could have raised hackles to the extent that Antony was brought to the fore. The fake Indian Mumbai terror charge, which had set off new tensions between the US and Pakistan, was made in an unpublicised diplomatic protest in June, 2009 to Pakistani Yusuf Raza Gilani and other top Pakistani officials. India just buys time to prolong the Jammu Kashmir issue.

The SCO is fast becoming an organization that would link the security concerns of South Asia to those of Central Asia. That means that whatever happens between India and Pakistan will draw the attention and consultative intervention of China and Russia, who are the prime movers of the SCO. It is Russia that has enhanced the status of “observer” states like India and Pakistan and made them more or less permanent fixtures. And China has made India’s presence there easier by claiming it as its “strategic partner”.

The big agenda of all anti-Islamic IST (international State terrorists) in the region is “terrorism”. South Asia is embroiled in terrorisms; Corrupt Muslim regimes in Central Asia are shamelessly helping the NATO rogue states in Afghan massacres feels it is next in line. Pakistan does exactly what the American bosses ask them and now even tries to accommodate Indian fake security concerns and offered a security mechanism not only to India but to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China, that would stop the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU).

Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob in a statement has said that arrogant India’s stubbornness on Kashmir is the main impediment to settle the long-standing dispute. Sheikh Yaqoob reiterated that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of Kashmiris is vital to peace and stability in South Asia. Yaqoob maintained that the relations between Pakistan and India could only be normalized through the amicable solution of the long-standing dispute. Yaqoob said that India had adopted a dual policy as, on the one hand, it showed readiness for dialogue on he Kashmir dispute, while, on the other, it was trying to quell the ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir through use of brute force.
