Indo-Pakistan (Mis)talks over Kashmir

[Relationships among Pakistan, Afghanistan and Jammu Kashmir are historic and deep rooted, and Pakistan has been the main stabilizing factor though a victim of invading GST foreign nations with hidden agendas in the region in this region, including USA, UK and India. In recently year USA and its newly found strategic partner in terror activities have been destabilizing the region, by weakening Afghanistan and Pakistan. India avoids any positive momentum in JK freedom struggle.

Indian policy moves have always been misleading. When a new governor was installed in Srinagar it appeared Kashmir sovereignty is very near; then, again, when a Keral Gandhian, who does not drink too much, was made the military minister of India regime world thought peace is fast approaching Jammu Kashmir. But India keeps adding more terror equipment to JK and kills Muslims there. The issue of Kashmir has been split over the plight of Indian Muslims by the Indian regime and its well-knit media networks].

On the 25th Feb the talks between two terror states, busy killing Muslims just got pushed for a slow restart and both sides somehow resumed the endless, pointless, goalless talks. The resumption of peace talks between the two nuclear states always ended in a draw. Last time both resumed the ‘”talks”, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) moot in Yekaterinburg, Russia, to determine how and when to move forward again began as Indian big boss, Manmohan Singh warned against a “terrorist” Pakistan, President Asif Zardari, literally snubbing a sovereign nation in public by directing Pakistan to “do more” to contain terrorism.

Realizing the role played by the media and political unity in constantly pressing the occupying Englishmen for sovereignty, India has denied the same to Kashmiris. It is strange to see Kashmiri media calling freedom fighters militants and terrorists. In the case of Jammu Kashmir India has taken all possible precautions so that world does not see the true nature of Kashmir struggle. One of the feature is none of the newspapers in Jammu Kashmir really support the freedom cause of the nation from the Indian yoke though about a 100,000 innocent Kashmiri Muslims have been so far martyred. Indian terror strategists are working over time to thwart all efforts of freedom fighters and make them appear to be the “terrorists”.

India keeps cutting jokes, at times crudely, that Pakistan has to control Indian terrorism activities in the region. If New Delhi claims that USA controls Indian polices that makes some sense, but saying that Islamabad is controlling India is indeed ridiculous. India, until recently, claimed to be the world's largest secular democracy but, on the other, India continues its brute control over Jammu Kahsmir by invoking draconian laws which provided impunity to the state Hindu terror troops to commit gross human rights violations in Kashmir. Indian troops have been for decades committing gross human rights violations freely.

The core problem escalating the regional tension is all the three players on Kashmir, Pakistan USA-UK, and India have their individual pursuits in the project and freedom Kashmiris are not involved in the negotiations that makes a mockery of the peace talks. It has become clear to the whole world, and to the peoples of the South Asia region, that there exist three distinct entities; India, Pakistan and Kashmir. This is a firm foundation on which any one needs to build the solution of the problem. This is the reality, no matter how India tries to put misplaced arguments to deny re-independence to Kashmiris.

Relations between Pakistan and India are strained because of protracted disputes over Kashmir, though the situation there had improved in recent months. Going by the media mindset of Muslims managing the newspapers and online news in both Islamic world and non/anti-Islamic nations, one gets the vague impression that they preach a convenient formula for the Muslims to follow: to use Islam and Shari’s at par with other human activities like shopping, marketing, steeling, torching, bluffing, eating, torturing, killing,, drinking imported liquors of one’s own choice depending on financial position of individuals and groups or gangs. They argue there is no point in the “modern” technological, computer remote age to believe in Islam and try to establish Islamic rule in true spirits. Rather, it is beneficial to make the western fascist rogue states to impose their culture and “values” ion Islam world and Muslims. It is atrocious as such notorious ideas emanate form the so-called Muslim journalists post-paid for their “services” to anti-Islamism and Islamophobia, under severe pressure from western anti-Islamic Axis of Evils.

Right from the days of Nehru, the beginner of Nehru Dynasty, Indians shamelessly use international forums to snub Pakistani leaders. Knowing the Indian agenda in the region, Pakistan blames India and its consulates in Afghanistan for mischief in Balochistan and even FATA; India blames Pakistan for sheltering terrorists who attacked Mumbai and will continue to attack India unless eliminated. That is why a new kind of dialogue is essential. Certainly, it cannot be a repeat of mistakes committed along with mischief in the past which yielded no results. So the way forward is: ensure non- interference; remove mutual fear of military attack; share intelligence against terrorism; resolve non- core issues, including on water, quickly. Then focus on transit trade and Kashmir peacefully.

India pursues its hidden agendas in a sustained manner both indoors and outside India hangs on to Washington for its own reasons. A recent visit to Riyadh or Mecca by an Indian premier does not purify the blood stains from the genocides of innocent Muslims in India or Kashmir. Indian prime terrorist Manmohan visited Saudi Kingdom for Hindus’ and his own reasons. One does not how many Indian Muslims would benefit from his Saudi trip or Indo-Gulf relations. Even if Saudi Kingdom, a close ally of anti-Islamic USA and UK, could be cowed to support Indian fake contest on Kashmir nothing could stop the freedom fighter sin Jammu Kashmir to achieve their legitimate goals.

To understand the new peace initiative, some background of Indian mindset as well as US agenda in the region is necessary. In order to destroy some of its old weapons and to showcase its terror prowess, India even is ready for war with Pakistan or at least generates sycophancy by unleashing cold and hot rhetoric threatening every now and then as a policy to attack Islamabad accusing it of “cross border terrorism”, etc. Despite all efforts by terror India to fuel the tensions in the region by killing Muslims in Gujarat and Jammu Kashmir, Muslims have not properly comprehended India’s hidden Hindutva goals now pursued by Sonia-Manmohan duo with president with criminal records, because of the occasional thaws in Indo-Pak ties that happen for reasons unknown to the public on either side. The Indo- Pak deadlock was broken in 1997 after two wars and destruction of Babri Mosque in 1992 when India under PM IK Gujral accepted that Kashmir was a “dispute” and Pakistan under Nawaz Sharif agreed to a “composite” dialogue on all issues.

India considers Pakistan as a small, insignificant Muslim state trying to outmaneuver India and its strenuous efforts to destabilize Islamabad so that India could control Pakistani policies. After he seized power, President Musharraf repudiated the composite dialogue as a “sell- out” by Sharif. In 2001 the Agra talks collapsed because India played marvelously the phrase “cross-border-terrorism” and insisted on posing “terrorist infiltration” from Pakistan as a core issue like Kashmir. Then, despite nuclear rattling in 1998, Sharif and AB Vajpayee reiterated the composite dialogue in Lahore in 1999. Delimiter General Pervez Musharraf’s Kargil adventure in 1999 brought the two countries to the brink of war.

Everything that India does is seen through the prism of Pakistan and whatever Pakistan does, at least in foreign affairs and security issues, is viewed through the lens of India, which it views as its eternally hostile neighbor, and vice versa. It’s a very delicate thing that the Obama administration will focus on. But it will be hard to determine this focus because it will be quite closely held and under wraps. And that is the India-centricity of Pakistan. Pakistani anti-Islamic elements think that the US administration would further triple economic assistance and that would go both to shoring up the economy, which is in terrible shape, as well as providing some aid for social development and education.

Observing that the Barack Obama administration is looking at Pakistan through a different lens than its predecessors, William Milam, a former American diplomat said that the new USA government would quietly focus itself on Kashmir, away from the public gaze. William Milam identified Kashmir as one of the issues on which the Obama administration would focus on while trying to find a solution to Pakistan. He said the US can't do much at least on the issue of Kashmir due to India’s position on it. “We certainly cannot be seen to meddle or to even mediate on the issues, particularly the Kashmir issue." Senior most Hurriyat Leader Geelani has been relentlessly struggling for sovereignty from Indian yoke and India keeps arrests him and harms his health. Several freedom leaders have laid their lives. Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman JKPL, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing a public gathering at Bhawan Mattan Anantnag after Friday congregation last week has called for inclusion of Kashmiris in Indo-Pak dialogues for finding a durable solution of the thorny issue of Kashmir in line with wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Mukhtar Waza demanded that ongoing peace process should be all inclusive and the genuine Kashmiri leadership should be made part of all future negotiation between India and Pakistan, reiterated that the people of Kashmir are determined to continue the liberation struggle till the achievement of right to self-determination and emphasized that the UN should play role to resolve the long-standing dispute. Waza urges India to immediately release all the pro-freedom leaders and activists. He also expresses serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of pro-freedom leaders in jail. Waza appeals to the world community to impress upon India to stop rights abuses in Kashmir valley and called for the appointment of a special envoy on Kashmir.

The decomposed Indo-Pak composite Dialogue is the outcome of the unwilling Indian leadership to recognize Kashmir sovereignty as the central issue. This routine India habit has enabled Indian media hawks to strategically play with the lives and image of Muslims of India, Kashmir and Pakistan. Funny, Kashmir media also present India as the innocent victim.
