Indo-Pakistan mis-Talks over Kashmir

*****

ONE

Right from the days of Nehru, the beginner of Nehru Dynasty, Indians shamelessly use international forums to snub Pakistani leaders. Knowing the Indian agenda in the region, Pakistan blames India and its consulates in Afghanistan for mischief in Balochistan and even FATA; India blames Pakistan for sheltering terrorists who attacked Mumbai and will continue to attack India unless eliminated. That is why a new kind of dialogue is essential. Certainly, it cannot be a repeat of mistakes committed along with mischief in the past which yielded no results. So the way forward is: ensure non- interference; remove mutual fear of military attack; share intelligence against terrorism; resolve non- core issues, including on water, quickly. Then focus on transit trade and Kashmir peacefully.

The issue of Kashmir has been split over the plight of Indian Muslims by the Indian regime and its well-knit media networks. This habit has enabled Indian media hawks to strategically play with Muslims of India, Kashmir and Pakistan. The core problem escalating the regional tension is all the three players on Kashmir, Pakistan USA-UK, and India have their individual pursuits in the project and freedom Kashmiris are not involved in the negotiations that makes a mockery of the peace talks. It has become clear to the whole world, and to the peoples of the South Asia region, that there exist three distinct entities; India, Pakistan and Kashmir. This is a firm foundation on which any one needs to build the solution of the problem. This is the reality, no matter how India tries to put misplaced arguments to deny re-independence to Kashmiris.

On the 25th Feb the talks between two terror states, busy killing Muslims just got pushed for a slow restart and both sides somehow resumed the endless, pointless, goalless talks. The resumption of peace talks between the two nuclear states always ended in a draw. Last time both resumed the ‘”talks”, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) moot in Yekaterinburg, Russia, to determine how and when to move forward again began as Indian big boss, Manmohan Singh warned against a “terrorist” Pakistan, President Asif Zardari, literally snubbing a sovereign nation in public by directing Pakistan to “do more” to contain terrorism.

To understand the new peace initiative, some background of Indian mindset as well as US agenda in the region is necessary. For USA, democracy and rule of law etc are the time-pass items to fool the world while attacking the Islamic world and America is interested only in advancing US unilateral agenda by imposing puppet regimes around the world and acquiring terror military bases to control the global resources. Kashmir and Indo-Pak relations are a low priority which in international political science means no priority. 'We will also continue to support dialogue between Indian and Pakistani leaders,' Robert O. Blake, Jr, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia. ‘India and Pakistan face common challenges, and we will support continuing dialogue to find joint solutions to counter terrorism and to promote regional stability,' he said giving a regional overview of South Asia to the House Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia.

India considers Pakistan as a small insignificant state trying to outmaneuver Indian strenuous efforts to destabilize Islamabad so that India could control Pakistani policies. After he seized power, President Musharraf repudiated the composite dialogue as a “sell- out” by Sharif. In 2001 the Agra talks collapsed because India played marvelously the phrase “cross-border-terrorism” and insisted on posing “terrorist infiltration” from Pakistan as a core issue like Kashmir. Then, despite nuclear rattling in 1998, Sharif and Atal Bihari Vajpayee reiterated the composite dialogue in Lahore in 1999. General Pervez Musharraf’s Kargil misadventure in 1999 brought the two countries to the brink of war.

So far, India succeeded in paralyzing the Indo-Pak talks by employing all sorts of gimmicks and terror ploys. India has used terror ploys to undermine the peace process. However, the Pune13feb terror attack misfired and did not get any international mileage because world has seen though Indian hidden moves to thwart any peace talks with Pakistan for the sake of retaining Kashmir under terror hooks. Moreover, the Obama administration repeatedly warned India against playing mischief on Pune-terror-attack and not to derail the composite dialogue.

Observing that the Barack Obama administration is looking at Pakistan through a different lens than its predecessors, a former American diplomat said that the new United States government would quietly focus itself on Kashmir, away from the public gaze. William Milam, the former US Ambassador to Pakistan from 1998 to 2001, identified Kashmir as one of the issues on which the Obama administration would focus on while trying to find a solution to Pakistan. He says the US can't do much at least on the issue of Kashmir due to India’s position on it. “We certainly cannot be seen to meddle or to even mediate on the issues, particularly the Kashmir issue." Everything that India does is seen through the prism of Pakistan and whatever Pakistan does, at least in foreign affairs and security issues, is viewed through the lens of India, which it views as its eternally hostile neighbor, and vice versa. It’s a very delicate thing that the Obama administration will focus on. But it will be hard to determine this focus because it will be quite closely held and under wraps. And that is the India-centricity of Pakistan. Pakistani anti-Islamic elements think that the US administration would further triple economic assistance and that would go both to shoring up the economy, which is in terrible shape, as well as providing some aid for social development and education.

Obama has got the economic package to outwit recession passed by the Congress. But one expects the same resoluteness and firmness of Obama in dealing with all of external affairs, in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan now under US occupation; in Palestine now under fascist Israeli terror occupation; Kashmir now under Indian terror custody. The Obama administration sees Pakistan through a slightly different lens than the previous administrations. Indian Hindus believe Obama will “definitely show” Pakistan its right place under the sun. India has nothing to worry about any thing so long as USA, UK and Israel are behind it. India claims to be the America’s natural ally by virtue of being a thriving democracy. Over-conscious about its nuclear status, the Indian Security Advisor expressed Indian problem to USA and embarrassment land pain it faces in the region where it is boasting of a strategic partner of USA. As speculated in New Delhi, he pleaded the US security specialist with a request not to make India look small in comity of “small nations” in South Asia. Highly disturbed by the Obama administration’s directive to India to quickly move its troops from LoC and unable to get its lobbyists and other paid agents roaming about in Washington, India quickly arranged a meeting of its National Security Advisor with nominee of the Obama administration in Washington and pushed him by the next available fight to USA.

THREE

There is a very important feature common between Islamic and non-Islamic (anti-Islamic) nations with regard to genocides of Muslims. The corrupt leaders in Pakistan and Arab world have invested their bulk of their resources in the West and they own plenty of wealth especially in western capitals. They require the protection of their wealth by the western regimes and hence support anti-Islamic terror wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, while Pakistani corrupt regime aid the genocides of NATO terrorists. For these leaders their privately owned wealth is important than Islamization of the society. This explains why the corrupt Zardari puppet government asks the Pakistani military to kill more and more Muslims and report to both Washington and London with a copy marked to New Delhi for information. The hide and seek attitude of the judiciary is unable to contain the Pakistani state terrorism unleashed n Muslims.

Even being shaky on all fronts in recent years, global capitalism still controls the entire world, including the communist ones in many ways. Terrorism, created by CIA-Pentagon-SIS-Mossad-RAW & Co to target Muslims and defame Islam, is being financed by capitalists to make Islamic nations to come under western clutches.. Capitalists globally coordinate terrorist networks and their activities and Indian capitalists contribute generously to the “fund for terror”. These capitalists are keen to make the entire world engulfed in terror flames so that they could make more profits. Global capitalists use media to woo Muslims to take the anti-Islamic path and help countries like India in terrorism ploys, genocides of Muslims and also in sports, like cricket. They help Indian occupation of Jammu Kashmir and hence India maintains a criminal silence on sovereignty issue even after a popular demand by Kashmiris for the return of their sovereignty.

As part of its global polices, Washington is keen to use Muslim nations run by it puppet regime to kill Muslims and reduce the Muslim population- a demand from New Delhi- Pakistan remains an ally and a very important ally of the USA. But the US claims its focus is changing from an open kind of relationship to a relation that is much more focused on changing the Pakistani mindset – and not the US mindset- in terms of resisting the threat that really threatens their state.

President Obama has spoken of the need to resolve the Kashmir dispute in the greater interest of prosecuting the war against violent extremism in Afghanistan perpetrated by the NATO terrorists. He talks about the need to move a significant part of the 300,000 troops deployed on Pakistan’s southern to its northern borders to help sustain the coalition effort against the Taliban and al-Qaeda is likely to lead to some measure of American involvement with the Kashmir issue as well.
