Stop your taxes from fueling climate change

Climate change is the most serious challenge facing the planet. However, governments in Australia continue to spend twenty-eight (28!) times more taxpayer’s money on fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas than they put into renewable energy like solar and wind. We think it’s time to give renewables a fair go!
Will you help us put an end to this decade-long misuse of our tax dollars? Sign the petition asking new Treasurer Wayne Swan to take decisive first steps in this May’s Federal Budget, replacing handouts to antiquated fossil fuels with clean energy investment!
We’re talking about $803 per average taxpayer fueling climate change. An independent academic report we commissioned has uncovered some of the dirty details, many of which were buried under technical jargon and hidden in different government policies…
Perhaps the most scandalous waste of money uncovered is a $308 million dollar annual tax break for multinational coal companies to cover their fuel bills. This single handout alone is more than the entire amount the Federal Government invests in renewable energy. Considering some of these companies have profits in the billions, and their executives are paid eight figure salaries, the question must be asked: why are our hard-earned taxes icing their cake – and fueling climate change at the same time?
Together, we can change this. Australians elected Kevin Rudd and Labor in part because they said they were serious about tackling climate change. But considering the powerful vested interests involved, there is no guarantee they will automatically break with Howard’s legacy of funding climate change. Let’s show we, the people, can be powerful too.
Spend a few seconds signing the petition and let the new Treasurer Wayne Swan know you don’t want your taxes fueling climate change. It’s urgent, as there is less than 10 weeks to the budget in May.
We’ll be delivering the petition to Treasurer Swan next month and we’re working hard to expose this issue in the media – but the best way to get attention is to have thousands of Australians onboard. Adding your voice to the petition – and sharing this with your friends and colleagues – will make all the difference.
Hundreds of thousands of Australians are reducing their personal impact on the climate. All we’re asking of our Government is to match our level of concern and make sure our taxes are supporting the clean energy solutions, not the problem.

Contradicting Facts of a popular belief
As much as i hate to say it, Climate Change and global warming are not caused my the average person, though in fact it is being caused &/or helped by governmental projects all around the world. Here is a letter to a Mr Ross Garnaut and to the PM in australia, both who have failed to reply to such emails to them informing them about such projects like HAARP and the 28 other bases like it. Please note that this is a copy that i also posted in a myspace blog. When one does their research properly they also find that Weather manuplation techniques are in use today by the soviet union (Russia) and the US and have been in use since the 1960s if not earlier.
Dont take my word for it tho.. and i wont even begin to tell you what these projects could be doing to our ozone layer as well as earths magnetic field. It is worth taking the time to read...

Ross Garnaut & Australian PM Vs my views on climate change

Let me state that this is in reply to the recent report on climate change. (re that australia is not doing enough about climate change and global warming) and that i had only read and watched what the news had said and reported. i had not read the whole report because i do not believe that the general civilian population is to blame and there for should not have to pay the price for professional scientists, professional mistakes...

Good day,
I am writing to you because i believe you have been misinformed on the issues of climate change and that of global warming, or do not know the full complete story to what truly can be causing these affects/effects on our planet.
I believe in climate change and global warming, i just don't believe the IPCC report that blamed the world general population for causing these things.
Let me put forward some facts so that i say may make more sense.
There are various programs going on around the world and have been going on even before the 60's era
These events and programs include that of controlling and manipulation of the weather.
Fact,
It is known in historical documents that a world wide treaty was signed back in 1976 not to use weather in times of war, or to use weather modification techniques as a process of war against another country, this treaty was signed by around 60 countries. This is believed to have happened before any nuclear treaty was signed by governments.
Fact,
out of all the 28 bases that use the ionosphere and magnetosphere for experimentation, HAARP otherwise known as The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program is the strongest &/or the most powerful of all other bases.
Fact,
With the knowledge that weather modification techniques can now and still is being used today, it does make the theory of global warming and climate change look like a joke, specially since programs like HAARP and the Woodpecker system in russia can create things like cyclones, earth quakes, floods and that of droughts in any and all parts of the world. it is also believed to be possible and capable to be able to set off things like volcanoes and possibly tsunamis.
Fact,
When used, HAARP uses 1 billion watts that it sends into the atmosphere, with this in mind, it creates holes or slashes in the ionosphere which then allows harmful rays from the sun into our planet while the earth itself still heals the hole that was made.
I would be interested if you still believe that australia is not doing enough as stated in your recent reports, or that whether the governments around the world are actually misleading citizens by making them believe a false made up story?
I also would like to bring up some other facts that these programs could be the reason of the earth being demagnetized, and in effect, is the reason for the earth swaying more hence the north and south polar caps lean towards the sun more, hence your global warming, as well as these programs being used, it does not take a rocket scientist to work out that the holes this program leaves, could possibly be the reason for holes in the ozone layer as well, since HAARP is situated in alaska and the biggest hole in the ozone layer is at the south pole, could we actually be slowly destroying this earth in the name of technology? I believe so.
Rather then me explaining it in detail, could i recommend that you research this yourself so that you may come to your own conclusion to such issues as global warming & climate change. Please do not believe me and what i say, as i had gotten my information from reputable and respectable people such as Dr Bernard Eastlund, Dr Nick Begich and Jeanne Manning.
Please allow me to say this though that in 1970 a Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote a book titled between two ages, in this book it is quoted as a link will also verify this that
"Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised…Technology of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm."

With recent news of a carbon tax wanting to be introduced, i thought this is a must for all to see and research ...
Even though i also have (what i believe) could be a viable clean solution to help produce electricity for cities, it seems lots of people are out of touch with how advanced electrolysis really is and how it can help clean up the environment (like oil spills and getting rid of chemical waste and more) and turning into instant electricity and instant hydrogen. this is not to mention that a modern petrol motor can run off a tank of water converted into hydrogen by electrolysis as well, I wont go into great details, though i believe this idea would get rid of the idea of the need for a carbon tax and could also help improve australia or NSW as one of the cleanest environmentally friendly cities in the world..
Not a bad rep to have regarding that...

Our petition reached 53 signatures above it's goal (of 1000 signatures) a couple of days before the election last November. Kevin Rudd was informed about our petition a few days after his election as our new Prime Minister.
I am very happy to see that Greenpeace has finally adopted our initiative, they were approached with the idea way back when the petition was first opened. Perhaps the strength of their membership numbers will move our new Government into taking serious action...
For the earth and safety of all future generations, I continue to live in hope.
